Before you ask.
How long does a website take?
Two to three weeks for a typical local business site. Larger builds with many product or service pages take longer — we scope that on the call. Because we write the copy and source the imagery, the timeline depends on us rather than on you finding a free evening to send content over.
What do you need from me?
One kickoff call, your logo if you have one, and photos of your actual work if you have them. If you do not, we will work with what exists and tell you honestly where real photos would help more than anything else we could do.
Do I own the site?
On the $2,000 one-time build, yes — outright, including the source files. On a monthly plan the site is yours to use as long as the plan is active, and if you ever leave we hand over the files. See our terms for the exact wording.
Can I edit it myself afterwards?
You can, but on a monthly plan you should not have to. Text us the change and it is live within 48 hours. The whole point is that you never log into anything. If self-editing matters to you, say so on the call — it changes how we build it.
What if I already have a website?
We will look at it on the call and tell you straight. If it is fast, mobile-friendly and converting, we would rather improve it than sell you a rebuild. If it is fighting you, rebuilding is usually cheaper than patching around the problems.
Will it help me rank on Google?
The technical foundation will be right — fast, crawlable, properly structured, with schema in place. That is necessary but not sufficient. Actually ranking locally takes ongoing local SEO and Google Business Profile management, which is what the $500/mo plan covers. Nobody can guarantee rankings, us included.
